National Resource Center for Paraeducators (NRCP)

The NRCP supports a wide range of education professionals and stakeholders, including paraeducators, teachers, policymakers, administrators, therapists, early childhood specialists, and personnel developers in both 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities.

The NRCP’s mission is to bring together a wide range of people, including employers, unions, professional organizations, paraeducators, related service providers, interveners, family members, and other advocates. The goal is to improve services for all children and youth by creating systems and practices that help skilled professionals stay in their roles and even consider future teaching careers.

They also offer training and resources to a variety of education professionals and stakeholders. This includes paraeducators, teachers, related service providers, interveners, policymakers, administrators, therapists, early childhood specialists, and college personnel developers. The aim is to enhance outcomes for all students through these collaborative efforts.

Saturday Mornings with the NRCP

The National Resource Center for Paraeducators, Related Service Providers, and Interveners is excited to announce a new series of monthly, low-cost, 2-hour professional development webinars for paraeducators. These virtual sessions are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from August 2024 to July 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm Mountain Time. Teacher and paraeducator teams are encouraged to join, with discounts and group rates available. Each month features new topics, including the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Core Competencies for Special Education paraeducators, Challenging Behavior and De-Escalation, Effective Instruction Techniques, and much more.

37th Annual National NRCP Virtual Conference
